Claim BATON

How it works

On pump.fun a coin can launch with BATON as its pair instead of SOL. Its price, trades and liquidity are then all in BATON.

How a paired coin holds BATON

  1. Early on the curve

    Step 1: Launch

The creator buys the first coins with BATON. That BATON goes straight into the coin’s bonding curve.

  2. Past halfway

    Step 2: Trading

To buy the coin you need BATON. Every buy adds BATON to the curve; every sell takes some back out.

  3. Full: moves to PumpSwap

    Step 3: Graduation

When the curve is full, the coin graduates: its BATON moves into a coin/BATON pool on PumpSwap. A full curve holds about 856K BATON (between 459K and 4.28M, depending on the coin).

How these numbers are counted

  1. Which coins count. Every pump.fun coin with BATON as its pair, found on-chain by its bonding curve: 918 today. A coin launched since the last full update counts at once and gets its row as soon as its name is read.

  2. BATON held. Read straight from the chain: all 23,339 BATON token accounts, each assigned to its owner (a paired coin’s bonding curve or PumpSwap pool, the main BATON/PUMP pool, another DEX, or a wallet). The BATON in every curve and pool is read again every minute, the owners every 10 minutes.

  3. History. Hourly. From Oct 13 on, each hour holds the exact on-chain totals of its last full update, taken within that hour; the hours before, and any hour without an update, are rebuilt to the hour’s close from each coin’s price on pump.fun (average error 9.5%). Hours older than 30 days are thinned to each day’s highest, lowest and last. Days are UTC days.

  4. Graduation. A coin graduates when its bonding curve is full; its BATON then sits in a PumpSwap pool, and the report sees it within a minute. Pools on other DEXes are not counted.

  5. Prices. BATON’s USD price is read on-chain every minute, from the BATON/PUMP and PUMP/USDC pools (Jupiter or DexScreener only when those cannot be read). Market caps are on-chain reserves at that price, counting 1 billion tokens the way pump.fun does, BATON’s included. Traded volume is buys plus sells of paired coins, counted in BATON.

  6. Sources. Solana’s public RPC (Helius as a fallback) and pump.fun’s public API, all free. No cookies and no ads; visits are counted anonymously with Vercel Web Analytics. The font (Archivo, SIL Open Font License) ships with the page; coin logos come from pump.fun’s image CDN; the portrait comes from baton.meme.
